Our Achievements

Here are a few examples of our case studies that showcase how we’ve helped clients overcome challenges and improve their network services. Each case study highlights our approach, the solutions implemented, and the measurable results achieved — demonstrating our commitment to delivering reliable, efficient, and scalable network solutions.
Transforming Slovakia’s Mobile Future with O2 Slovakia
A nationwide network modernisation led by CETIN International and CETIN Networks Slovakia has reshaped the mobile landscape in Slovakia — delivering one of the most advanced, high-capacity mobile infrastructures in Central Europe.
Expanding Bulgaria’s Digital Future with Large-Scale Fiber Deployment
CETIN Bulgaria, part of CETIN International, is playing a key role in one of the country’s most ambitious connectivity initiatives — the Large-Scale Deployment of Digital Infrastructure in the Territory of Bulgaria.
Launching One of the World’s First Commercial Quantum-Secured Networks in Czechia
CETIN Czech Republic, in collaboration with O2, has launched one of the world’s first commercial implementations of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) — a technology that uses particles of light to create unbreakable encryption.
Strengthening Cybersecurity with CETIN’s Intelligent Security Operations Center (SOC)
As cyber threats continue to evolve, businesses and government entities alike face increasing pressure to protect their critical digital infrastructures. The need for comprehensive cybersecurity solutions has never been greater, especially as more organizations shift towards cloud-based systems and distributed networks. In response to these challenges, CETIN Group has developed a state-of-the-art Security Operations Center (SOC), known as iSOC, designed to offer 24/7 monitoring, advanced penetration testing, and robust defense mechanisms against cyber threats.
5G Balkans — Building the Digital Backbone for Autonomous Mobility
The 5G Balkans project aims to develop the necessary digital backbone to support the future of autonomous transportation along the route Sofia–Dimitrovgrad (Serbia), part of the strategic Trans-European Transport Corridor “Orient/East-Med” connecting Belgrade, Sofia, and Thessaloniki.
SD-WAN: The network strategy of the future
SD-WAN is a Software-Defined Wide Area Network that allows enterprises to securely connect users to applications by leveraging any combination of transport services. Due to its properties, it is meant to become a successor of the traditional WAN architectures (built on IP/MPLS and IPSEC technologies). SD-WAN provides a better user experience by protecting applications' availability and performance, while connectivity services are less expensive. It reduces bandwidth costs but can also help reduce capital costs or decrease HW equipment by allowing consolidation of networking and security features at the edge while delivering better control and performance.
Empowering Girls in STEM – The Second Season of STEMpowered by CETIN
In the 2024/25 academic year, CETIN Hungary—Hungary’s first mobile telecommunications infrastructure service provider—partnered with the Association of Hungarian Women in Science (NaTE) to deliver the second season of STEMpowered by CETIN, a complex talent development program for secondary school girls. Designed to inspire interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) and support informed career choices, the program once again achieved strong results. Participant feedback shows that STEMpowered not only raised awareness about STEM pathways but also empowered girls with the confidence and skills needed for their future careers.
Building Seamless Connectivity for Budapest’s Newest City Quarter
In Budapest’s emerging BudaPart district, CETIN Hungary has delivered cutting-edge network infrastructure that brings reliable mobile coverage to one of the city’s most ambitious urban developments.
Data Centers Serdika and Trakia now fully equipped with solar systems
As part of the ESG Strategy of PPF Group and CETIN Group, CETIN Bulgaria has completed the installation of photovoltaic systems on their data centers in Sofia and Plovdiv.
Balaland hotel: Advanced network solution for the New Luxury Hotel at lake Balaton
The independent indoor antenna system of CETIN Hungary helped a luxury hotel situated on the southern shore of Lake Balaton to establish the best quality network connectivity. The Mövenpick Balaland Resort Lake Balaton is located in Szántód, at Somogy County.
Powering a Sustainable Future through Renewable Energy: CETIN Bulgaria Goes Green
CETIN Bulgaria, in collaboration with Yettel Bulgaria, has taken a major step toward sustainability by signing a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Elektrohold for the supply of electricity from renewable sources. The energy will be generated by a 123 MW photovoltaic plant, expected to be operational in spring 2023. Elektrohold Trade, a leading energy trader within the Electrohold Group (part of Eurohold—the largest public holding company in Bulgaria), manages the purchase and delivery process.
Pioneering Service-Provider-Independent 5G Networks in Hungary
CETIN Hungary, in partnership with MVM Net, has successfully implemented two mobile-operator-independent 5G test projects — one in an urban environment and another in an agricultural setting — demonstrating the future of shared 5G infrastructure.
