Our targets
At CETIN, we are passionate about the technology that forms the backbone of our existence. We aim to accelerate the uptake of digital technology in all locations where we operate. We design, build and operate high-quality networks and provide innovative solutions with no compromise in security. CETIN International is well positioned to enable a rapid and cost-effective transition to 5G networks. This allows us to connect as many people as possible, even in areas that might have otherwise been difficult to reach. In the age of digitalization, no one should be left behind.

Enable 5G coverage

Our goal is to make 5G connectivity available to at least 80 % of the population by 2027, in the countries where we operate.

Resilient and reliable network

We aim to continuously improve network reliability and quality of the national critical infrastructures in all countries where we operate and always actively help national authorities in case of natural disaster. We will further strengthen the protection of customer data and increase the resilience of our networks to cyberattack and cyberfraud.

Progress highlights

Enable 5G coverage

By the end of September 2025, 5G coverage reached approximately 75% of the population across our operational areas.

Resilient and reliable network

In recent years, we have implemented full-scope security information and event management systems, established internal Security Operation Centres (SOC), and introduced cyber security training for all external contractors. We have also taken all necessary measures to be fully compliant with the NIS2 Directive. In 2025, we implemented a new Anti‑DDoS platform in one of our CETINs, featuring geo‑redundant DDoS scrubbing centers, a high‑performance roaming firewall, and new authoritative and recursive DNS servers to further improve network reliability and resilience.

Impact stories

Follow our steps towards enablement of 5G coverage and network resilience and reliability
CETIN Bulgaria has completed the installation of photovoltaic systems on its data centers
The independent network infrastructure operator CETIN Bulgaria has finished the installation of photovoltaic systems on its data centers (DC) in Sofia and Plovdiv. A system with an expected annual yield of 178.5MWh has been added to the roof of Serdika DC, and a 47.617MWh system now helps power Trakia DC in Plovdiv.
CETIN Bulgaria network goes green: Energy will be sourced from renewable sources
Yettel Bulgaria and CETIN Bulgaria have signed a 10-year power purchasing agreement for the supply of electricity from renewable sources with Elektrohold. The electricity will be provided by a 123MW photovoltaic plant, due to be completed in the spring of 2023. The overall management of the purchase and realization of the supply will be carried out by the leading trader Elektrohold Trade. The company is part of the Electrohold Group, owned by the largest public holding in Bulgaria – Eurohold.
CETIN Czechia has reached another Milestone: the average speed has reached 202 Mbps
CETIN Czechia offers from April 2023 a new tariff that brings even faster connections to users of fiber connections. The newly introduced 2000/1000Mbps tariff allows downloads and uploads at twice the speed of the former tariffs. It was designed especially for customers who work intensively with cloud applications and need to transfer large volumes of data with the highest available speeds.
