CETIN Serbia is a leader of digital infrastructure in Serbia
Interview with Vladimir Radojicic, CEO of CETIN
Today, CETIN is a key player in the development of Serbia's digital infrastructure – a company that not only builds the network, but also sets new standards in the field of cybersecurity and connectivity.
"We are pioneers in outsourcing infrastructure from traditional mobile operators. We offer a unique ecosystem of services, starting from the infrastructure, on which we upgrade connectivity and solutions in the field of cyber security. In this way, we provide Yettel with comprehensive services based on our robust digital infrastructure, certified to use 100% green energy. We are especially recognized in the field of data center services, because we guarantee security, reliability and connectivity from the Bosphorus to Western Europe. We recognize the needs of users, from the largest to small and medium-sized enterprises, in a timely manner, offering scalable SD-WAN solutions, as well as private networks for large industrial complexes. We place special emphasis on cyber security and cooperate with institutions on the introduction and implementation of the latest European standards and regulations in Serbia.
How committed are you to development?
CETIN is actively working on the development of private cloud on an open-source basis and the development of autonomous telecommunication networks. Automation will reduce the risk of errors and speed up processes. In addition, advanced analytics and artificial intelligence will make it possible to anticipate user needs and optimize network and security tools more efficiently. Our experience in our group gives us access to a broader portfolio of digital solutions and innovations. We create solutions that are attractive to multinational companies, which require strict compliance with European regulations and standards. Due to the rapidly growing demand for these services, we will expand our network of data centers by applying the highest standards of energy efficiency.
What is the significance of people in all of this, and what are your personal challenges in running such a dynamic company?
More than 300 employees are the heart of our company. We invest in knowledge and talent development, but also in creating an environment where everyone feels supported. I am especially proud of the new "recharge" benefit – a month of paid vacation for every five years of work at CETIN. It's a reward for loyalty and an opportunity for our experts to come back fresh and motivated. We are also recognized on the market – PwC awarded us the title of "ESG Leader 2025" in the category of employee care.
Technological advances encourage us to develop rapidly and adapt knowledge, skills and processes. My task and at the same time the challenge is to motivate teams to see technological progress as an opportunity, and not see change as an obstacle. I believe in open communication and leadership by example – if you want people to be innovative, you have to leave them room to be creative and learn from mistakes.
What motivates you personally and what is your vision for the next five years of CETIN?
I am driven by the feeling that we are building something tangible that remains. Digital infrastructure is not only a technological achievement – it contributes to the development of the economy and the quality of life in Serbia. That is why we continue to expand our network, develop innovative solutions and new services. I'm proud to be part of the top 100, but our goal is to leave a long-term mark – to build the digital infrastructure of the future that connects people, ideas and creates opportunities.
